This summer I had my gas tank replaced under warranty and up until a couple of weeks ago everything was fine. Recently my CEL comes on at 3/4 and 1/4 full gas tank readings. I undo the gas cap and replace it and the light goes away. I did a quick search here on the forum, but found nothing specific. I do have a schedule F oil change coming in 1700 miles, but I thought I would ask here first. Is this an odd occurrence? Or is this common. Thanks.

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! It's odd to have a CEL come on with the gas tank. I would pull the car's error codes and see what the CEL is in regards to.
