I don't believe they will be remodeling it any time soon.
The 2009 CLS has very minor changes if I'm correct the changes are as follows(pictures below):
New 2 bar grill
New taillights with arrow-shaped turn signals
Slightly larger exterior rear-view mirrors
New Steering wheel (I admit it looks much nicer)
As far as appearance is involved I think that's pretty much it. The new NAV System might have real-time traffic reports which I am somewhat jealous of. As far as body style goes the CLS design should stay pretty much the same for a good 2 more years at least. European companies usually don't switch their designs as often as other manufacturers. Also, MBZ is still busy trying to put out the new SL-Class and the new E-Class, so we should be okay for a while.
