Hi,

Did you find out how to do this?

I have taken the door panel off, but there is a black plastic surround holding the door handle in place. DOn't want to force it, but how does it come off?

Cheers,
Jez.

Default cls door h

jimmy jammers for the locks, or get a rear door handle from a SCREW with no key hole. should just be take the door panel off, remove the bolts/screws adn clips for the rods.

the door panel does not need to come off. its usually on the side of the door, youll need a long thin torx to get in there, but youll have to remove the key hole part first with the torx. loosen the torx, it doesnt need to removed totally, uncrew it until you feel the tumbler/infrared reciever piece loosen after youve loosened the screw enough then youll be able to pull out the reciever/keyhole part,,then the door handle part will slide sideways and remove. be craeful not to drop the screw down in the door itself so i recommend leaving the torx screwdriver in the door while doing the work.
