Trunk Lid Bulb Socket W208, Anyone?
I appreciate any help that you all can give. I am trying to find the trunk lidbrake lamp socket for a W208, The dealership says that I have to buy the whole unit and that they don't sell the socket alone,but the W209 sells theirs as a seperate part. The socket is a hella part, and has the number 133 296 on the back. You would think that maybe the E Class W210 would work but that chassis has a slightlydifferent bulb socket but fits the p21w Bulb.Itsabsurd but thats the norm. If anyone is parting out a CLK that would be just as good. I included a pic of the part.I appreciate any help that you guys can offer. Thanks

yes was a pain in butt to find but you can get on eBay also used in a 2005 BMW that’s how I found it searching for Mercedes brought up zip about $15. It’s used in my 2000 call 430 for the trunk lid brake and reverse lights as well
