Default steeting wheel upkeep

I just bought an '04 CLK500 and I've noticed that the top of the leather steering wheel is somewhat roughed up and could start peeling or cracking in a couple of years. Any suggestions on how to keep the leather soft so it doesn't crack and/or peel??? Thanks.

Recommend the treatment/softner products at Color-Plus. They'll also match your exact leather color and treat faded sections. Look at www.colorplus.com
