well, it does, but only if i hold the key right next (i mean stuck to) the door handle little eye thingy.. i know it's not the battery, i replaced it.
is it the infra-red eye that is messed up? is there a way to replace it by myself? thanks

I did this on my 05 CLK 320 cabriolet. I can now be 6-8 inches away and it works every time !

It's nice to be able to raise / lower the top from the out side. Course now it's fall here.
