service b 103 days overdue, how to reset
Just picked up a 2005 CLK 320 yesterday. The oil change, air filter, cabin filter etc done at a local shop by the dealer. (Not MB obviously) The service B overdue message needs to be cleared, and for the life of me I can't figure out how. I downloaded the instructions for a model 219.3 because the steering wheel looks like mine (at least the buttons are right). The directions make no sense.
I have tried the key in position 1,press reset 3 times (heard the beep), scrolled through everything, never saw anything I would classify as a "service menu". There was 1 new menu that mentioned oil, but when I pressed either + or -, nothing happened.
Any help in really simple wording would be greatly appreciated.
