Hi there!

Im new here and firstly wanted to say hello to everyone here.

I have a 2004 CLK and its a great car but i have a problem.

You see, the COMAND is in Japanese and while i can read it just fine, i want to export the car back to Australia next year and obviously i cant very well have the system set to Japanese now, can i?

Not only that but obviously the Navi is in Japanese as well.

My question im hoping some of you can help me out on is two fold...

Firstly, is it possible to change the language on the Comand so that all info comes out in English?

And secondly, is there a way to change the navi so that it can accept Aussie maps or am i stuck with a navi that will only be able to read the japanese landscape.

These cars were sold locally in Australia so i have a sneaking suspicion its possible but im not an expert on these matters, you guys are!

i believe you can contact your Mercedes Benz dealer and request the CD's for the navi in english and then load them onto the car
