Has anyone dealt with those remotes on Ebay? or the internet in general?

The dealer price is $$$ and the online remote seems to be a resaonable alternative. The auction says the dealer can initialize the key for the car and have a new blade key cut using the data they have on the car.

We're down to the single remote... kinda scary.

actually i kinda have the same problem too... i have a C200 coupe, i have a single remote...i checked with the agent they said i give them the chasis number and they'll send to the factory in germany.. Price was ALOT regardless its gonna take them around 3 weeks to deliver the remote... I tried the internet as an alternative they said i have to contact the agent...
I'm not sure where u got it from...

better get the one from the dealer.

order "additional key" and not replacement key.
no programming is necessary. you just insert it, wait for 5 seconds for it to recognize and create the random code...then start the car.

in this way, it will save you from risks and worries.
