Default Installing seat covers.

HELP!!!
Has anyone installed seat covers which require the head rest to be removed?
Wife recently gave me a new set of canvas seat covers to install on my '06 CLK350 and my first obstacle is getting the head rest off so as to be able to silp the covers over the back section.

I'm not sure what year you're referencing, but I think I read somewhere that all you need to do is keep extending the head rest to it's full up position and then remove it. To put it back in, all you do is press it back in and engage the power setting to retract it back in.
I'm new to the Benz world, so please take my response cautiously. Good luck.
