Hello fellow merc owners i have a 2003 clk500 and have just done a50000 mileservice which includes changing the fuel filter but the problem is " i can'tfind it " does anybody know where it's located ?. I'd appreciate any response on this because i don't want to take off any more panels and shields untill i know which one's to remove

Beside the right rear tire. Accessed through one panel - three (I think) screws, that are recessed obove the panel, but holes are there to stick a ratchet extension through.It has four hoses attached to it, and is slightly larger than a 12oz soft drink can. Make sure you put a clamp or vise grips on the primary line. That gasoline taste is hard to get rid of - I learned the hard way.
