Hi,
I just bought a 2004 CLK500. LOVE IT! However, when I pull up on the release lever so that the driver's seat can be pushed forward, it does nothing. The passenger seat works fine.

Does anyone know how to fix?

hello- I had a similar problem and found that the cable needed tightening up- I removed the back panel of the seat found two cables and they have sort of hand twist tightner thingys- like on a bike's gear/brake cable....I tightened them up and all worked after- good luck & this helps.
