I have a 2000 clk 320, Does anyone know how i can increase my horsepower in order to keep up with these little Hondas and Toyotas ?

 

I'm not familiar with european cars, but I imagine it's the same for any....To answer the question we need to know how much money you have or are willing to spend on upgrades, or else you'll be getting too many answers. Upgrades usually encompass - air, spark, fuel, and suspension.

The 320 is a supercharged engine, correct? Underdrive pulley kits work well on some engines with superchargers. Look into performance ignition upgrades, a free-er flowing exhaust, etc. Oh and by the way, if you don't like a noisy exhaust, you can upgrade your exhaust piping from the engine all the way back and still remain relatively quiet. Sound does not equal performance. If that's your case, look into quieter mufflers and perhaps just start with a catback system for your car with a muffler of your choice.

 

clk320 has not blower.... So, it is very important to know how much money you would spend. Just a software remap is about $500-700 depending on the tuner. Powergains would be about 24hp / 29 lb ft. IF you put on a blower, then you would have to spend at least $6k and up, but the power gains would be a lot better. Ofcourse would new exhaust and air filter help out.
