cant get my convertible top to open,it only opens the two front latchs and the four windows its a clk 209 model 05/03

 

I'm sure you are out of warrenty. Become good friend with the parts dept manage...This always helps. Then after a week or 2 down the road let he/she know your problem. IE don't drive your car to meet this person. Best of Luck. Also, this has worked for me in the past.

We just acquired a 1999 CLK320 cabriolet. At the dealership we tried to drop the top, same thing happened as you. Latched the top again and retried it; still no luck. I looked in the trunk and pulled the top guard into position. Tried the top, and it worked, DOH...! who knew?! The dealer was a little more than embarrassed... Give it a try, I hope that's all it is...

did the rollbar deployed? you can move it up and down?
