Default Common Electical Drain for CLK 320?

This is actually for my girlfriends' aunts car, who is away in thailand for 3-4 weeks, I am detailing and taking care of her car from time to time and driving it (she doesn't like it to sit). The first time I drove it, everything seemed fine, but the next week I tried to start it and the battery was competely dead. I then come to learn through my GF that the aunt has had this problem before, but that's all that she knew. It appears that it wasn't fixed. I took the battery to a Kragen and got it fully charged and have been forced to disconnect the battery when the vehicle is not in use. This is completely ridiculous and this problem should be found. This is her only car so I'd like to narrow the problem down at least before she comes back.

Any input?

a lead acid battery will go bad if the voltage drops below about 9 to 10 volts/ also if the batt is more than 3 years old, replace it.
