I have a 2002 clk 55 cab. I put a cd in the nav/cd comand unit yesterday and when I tried to eject it, it would not come out. Now the comand system does not appear to even know it is still in the unit. Do I have to remove the entire comand unit to get at the cd, is there a faceplate that can be removed, or can the cd be removed in another way.

 

Not that this helps the stuck cd, but you can get a set of removal keys on ebay for about $5. There are 2 slots they fit in, left of the arrow button , and right of the "back" button. Slide them in & the unit Pops right out. Maybe you can get the cd out if you have the unit in hand? There is a DIY disassemble on the web...
