Default CLK350 Front Head Rest

I have a CLK350 and when I move the seat to let someone in the back seat, the head rest comes down and smashes your hand if it's under the head rest. I know I could not put my hand under the head rest, but it's a logical spot for your hand so the seat doesn't "bang" when it flips forward. Anyone else have this issue?

try not to put your hand there because you will pop the headrest out of the motor then the headrest wont work at all. it doesnt take much to pop the headrest out of the motor so try to keep your hands clear of the headrest when moving it.

The seat head rest is designed to lower when the seat is folded forward for rear access. This is in case you are a short driver so when the seat folds forward there is room for the head rest to clear the steeing wheel.
When placed back upright, it will return to the memory setting you have for your head rest.

MB tries to think of everthing but I guess they missed the hand issue.
Good luck.
