Hi, My battery- the original Varta Merc 100amp one has finally given up.
Replaced with a Lion 88Amp one - only problem is, the one-touch window opertaion no longer works (up or down, on either side).
It works when I keep my finger on the switchconstantly, just not the one-touch.
Would the difference in Ampage have an effect ?
Many thanks for the help.

When you pulled your battery you lost a lot of presets (do a search for "ecu reset" and you'll see many posts on the full procedure). Amperage at 88 won't make a diff. Here's your quick solution:
Close roof, windows, turn off A/C, radio, put all headrests al the way down.
Batt disconnect (5 min. is more than enough, neg. cable only works and is safer for the car).
-Reconnect
-ignition on (position 2 is fine)
-turn on radio, enter code
-push both arrows on temp control (both sides) simultaneously to give you 72 auto display
-ignition off position (I don't think this is actually necessary - it never seemed to make a diff., but it takes two seconds and I read I was supposed to, so what the hell).
_ignition on (start)
-push both window buttons down - but not all the way to the second click (feels like kickdown switch on a pedal), just to point of resistance. when they are down - push swithes all the way and hold for 3 sec., up and hold for 3 sec
-same for roof, and headrests (obviously they don't have the three position switch, so just hold them all way up, and then down)
