need some help diagnosing an issue i have w/ my 2005 clk 500 cab. ever since i had the benz ipod integration kit installed(at the dealership), my entire command unit will shut off a couple times a month. now, it could be coincidence w/ the ipod kit installaion, but i have noticed that the ipod stays on and powered up when the car is shut off. it will usually come back on a couple days later. not sure if it is maybe draining an internal battery in the nav unit which causes it to die, or if i just need to run a software update. dealer has said to bring it in while the issue is happenning, but it happens at random times, and comes back on a few days later...which makes it hard to drive 45 min in Houston at a whim.
An ideas or help?
