Hey I finally made it over to the dealer to get the code. It was pretty painless and took like 5 secs. Thanks for the help anyway sleepwalker. I am posting another interesting problem maybe you can help with that.

can you get me a code for my Alpine?

The place sent me one wrong radio (to replace my Becker 3309), now I have an Alpine CM1910, but the code they provided is wrong!
