I have a 2000 CLK convertible. The climate control system seems to have a mind of its own right now. I set it for AC ... lets say 70F ... and it seems to work when it feels like it! I can be driving down the road in 106F temp and it is blowing cold ... then poooof it starts blowing outside air in .... sometimes the fan stops ... then poooof, it will start working again great? I have seen that others have had simular issues, buy I have not seen the fix ... any help?

 

to cure this fault you need to replace blower motor and regulator..............

 

The main issue seems to be with the air coming out warm ... even when the compressor is on.
