I have a Mercedes CLK 320 with a 6 cd player. The casette will not eject or play. It worked before but lately I changed the CD's and put the changer back and now when I try to play a CD it tells me there is no changer. I tried to eject it but it won't release from the box which is in the trunk.
The release light flashes but still it won't release.Any suggestions on how to get the changer released.

you may have put one of the CD's in upside down. The drive can't read the disk, so doesn't know it's in there to eject it. My CLK hasn't got the changer - its been upgraded with a Panasonic in dash DVD........anyway my kids put a CD in upside down in my Chrysler Aspen's drive and I had to use a paperclip to push the manual release in before the drive would back it out?? might be same problem... good luck.. IJM

 

Thanks for the info. I took the cd player out of the trunk and fixed it. It works fine now.
