Default Best way to lease?

So I am getting serious about getting a CLK 350 cabrio. The local MB dealer is giving me a lousy price ($1500 off MSRP), and an even lousier lease rate (3.75 = 9% interest!). This is a "business auto", so for tax purposes I need to lease it.

He claims that I cannot lease a new Mercedes through anyone other than them -- they won't sell me the car if I want to lease through another company. Is this true or just a line from the salesman?

Has anyone here purchased through a broker? Has anyone here arranged a better lease deal through a broker? I need to find another way to buy my car! Thanks for any pointers.
