Default AC not working

Hi,
My son has a CLK 350 that threw a code (ambient sensor). This car has been in an accident and the bottom (undercarriage) sustained some damaged and ripped the ambient switch. Does anyone happens to know where the ambient sensor lead wires are coming from? ALLDATA shows that the ambient switch should be behind the passenger side front bumper, but it does not tells you where are the wires coming from nor the plug type or the color of the wires. Can anyone help?
Basically,
-where the ambient lead wires are coming from
-what color are the wires
-type of plug that connects to the ambient sensor

The car is a 2007 CLK 350, 3.5 engine, 7 speed, two door
Thanks in advance,
Kurt
