Default 2002 CLK55 AMG vibration

Model: 2002 CLK55 AMG Coupe
Mileage: 65,000 mi

I need help. I took my vehicle into the local dealership for my last A service. During this service it was determined that I needed the driveshaft flex disc changed, new front brakes and rotors, rear differential seal, and a new oil pan seal. On my way home from the dealership I noticed a moderate vibration at around 40mph through 48mph in the steering wheel. I had the front tires replaced becouse they were fairly worn and the problem persisted. Last week I took the car back to the dealership and they detirmined that all of the tires were badly out of balance. They balanced the tires, and low and behold the vibration is still there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either the wheels are still out of balance or a tire(s) is defective. I'd take it back to whomever balanced them and tell them their magic didn't work and please try again... for free.

If they used tape weights, they sometimes have a problem sticking in cold weather. Some moron techs will try to stick the weight on the wheel without first cleaning off the spot where they want to put it. You may have lost one or more tape weights as a result.

Hi man, my friend had this problem with his cl55 and its not because of the tires, check the suspension clips and the steering neck the problem usually is there and in the dealership they wont say its damaged unless they need to change it when its broken have them check it and i think it will be fine..
