2001 CLK 55 AMG
I am looking to purchase a Silver 2001 CLK 55 AMG with 44,000. I currently have a 2002 Lexus GS 430 and am looking to join the Mercedes family.
Can anyone tell me if there is anything I should look for before purchasing this car?: Are they any problems that this vehicle is known for having?

Hi,
The only thing that I can suggest is to get it thoroughly checked out at the local MB dealership. The cost will be well worth it. As you may already know that the repairs (parts and labor) on CLK55 is lot more than on CLK430. MB dealership will also be able to run the entire background check for the vehicle as to when all it had come for service to any MB dealership in the country. That is always helpful to make a decision.
