Im very interested in picking one of these up because theyre going for great prices right now. My question is how would you rate the reliability of these cars? When are the schedualed maintenaces and how much are they? What kind of life expectancy can I expect. The ones im looking at around 75k. I need the car to last 3 years while im in law school and not make me broke. Its such a pretty and comfortable car, but i just wanna make sure its practical too.

I OWN A '99 CLK320. BOUGHT IT WITH ONLY 29,000 MILES 2 YEARS AGO. IT NOW HAS 100,000. IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY RELIABLE. I JUST HAD THE 100,000 TUNE UP DONE PLUS THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL BEARNING REPLACED. I PUT ABOUT $3,000 INTO IT INCLUDING NEW TIRES, MICHLEIN EXALTO PE/2'S. GREAT TIRES BY THE WAY!! THIS CAR IS GOING TO LAST ME PROBABLY 300,000 MILES PLUS. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS EXCEPT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED IN SPENDING THE MONEY FOR PARTS AND REPAIRS. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU DRIVE WHICH IS THE BEST CAR IN THE WORLD!!

Default 2000 clk320

I am in the process of purchasing a CLK320 convertible that only has 51k miles on it and is in excellent condition. The car initially came with the phone option and I was inquiring if there is a way that I could tap into the system so that I could use my Iphone for hands free operation such as I can with my other vehicles that are much newer and have the means built into them to pair my phone for hands free.

Thanks in advance
Bob

Hi, I cant seem to find the name of this product, but if the phone cradle in the car supports the old nokia 6210, you can get a piece of kit that's the same shape as the phone. It plugs into the cradle and links to your phone via bluetooth. Im sure this product can be googled. Sorry I cant be of more help with that.
