I recently bought a spare key for my 1999 A190 on Ebay as mine has lost the red infrared top and looks a bit old!, can anyone tell me how to get the thing apart so I can put my metal key from mine into it, also does anyone know how to get it to the right frequency to open the car, the key is a 2 button operation one and the metal key flips out like a flick knife when the button on the side is pressed.
I would really appreciate any help on this.

Hi Stuart I'm having the same problem, with my remote as well.
I'm trying to get a remove the cover/ casing from the existing remote to renew to the new one. I will be asking a a friend over the weekend will update you if i have a joy. Please let me know if you have any luck in opening the casing?
