Default Question - Ordering a 2009 CL600 ...

... But the dealership is telling me they are unable to fit any 19" rim on the car without body modifications.

I looked through the site here and googled it to death but didn't find any info.

Anyone here know about this issue or are they just being numbskulls?

Hi i ordered my CL 500 with 20" rims but with AMG package too, maybe you should use the in-web-page car configurator mercedes has, and see if it lets you put that 19" wheels without the AMG.

You can put 20 inch rims on the car. Let alone 21 inch or 22 inch rims... 19 inch are a good way to go. I have 20 inch rims on my car and depending on your roads you will be getting those straightened once a year.

good luck

i“ve 20" rims on my 2008 65 AMG. The optic is amazing, but imho the handling gets too rough.
19" is a good compromise of optic and handling.

I saw a 2009 CL with 22inch rims for sale in DuPont Registry last month.
