any suggestions

 

I am having problems with dash and instrumentation in my 01 CL55. I am trying to figure out how to get the dash apart to find the ccomponent that was smoking when the problem occurred. I have a fuse blown #20 I think. If your problems are similar, pleast let me know and we will hopefully solve our respective problems. Thanks Frank

 

there is a fix. on the forums sleepwalker has the procedure. i have an email copy. bawally@thefreesite.com i can send you.he says it only cost $15 to fix this and you have to take the dash apart.

 

MB replaced my cluster lights for free under a manufacturer's recall i have an 02 CL 500

 

I just purchased a 2000 CL500 and found a letter from MB indicating the warranty for the dash was extended to 10 years and unlimited miles. They would also compensate for previous repairs with documantation. Don't know if this was purchased warranty extension or a MB action
