Exclamation cl600 Random missfire and secondary air injection fault

I was driving in chicago. Over bumpy stretches of roads. Suddenly my car started running like an old FIESTA. i mean, no acceleration and uneaven engine vibration. Switched the car off, and the car was running just fine. on my way home the car started to run sluggish again. So i checked the check engine codes. BY THE WAY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS BLINKING. p0300 and p0410.
Random Misfire and secondary air injection fault.

First thing i did i checked the spark plugs. They were a bit old so i thought id switch them out. 24 spark plugs later the car was running much smoother but still the same codes. I noticed that the air pump does not turn on when i start the engine. However i hotwired the pump to the battery and it works fine. Question number one. Should the pump start right away. The engine idles smooth. Does seem to have the timing. its just VERY VERY FIESTA slow on acceleration and runs very very rich. Has anyone had this problem? i checked the air pump relay. Thinking it might be the MAF sensor? but wouldnt those codes come up? or 02 sensors. But wouldnt the codes show that as well? What puzzles me is that the engine runs smooth. But doesnt seem to Burn all the fuel and therefore not getting all the power. Where should i start?

Thank you my friends

it might be the coil problem... I've seen many people experience similar problem with CL600 and their coils are notorious for going bad causing engine misfires.

I have a 02 cl 600 that misfires like crazy. It seems to only misfire when I'm running it hard or go over 4000-4200 rpm while accelerating or at 120-130mph.

Once the misfire happens the engine shutters and has lack of power. Once I turn the ignition of and then back on all is fine except the check engine light is still on. The check engine light will shut off after a day or two.

I have replaced all plugs both coil packs and a power control module... and still the same problem.

Any feedback would be great!
