ABC Error

RE: ABC Error
Okay well I have 20 inch wheels on the car and it's a good inch all the time above the tire to fender. So I took it to a reputable Mercedes guy, and he said that ECU for the ABC or SAM unit needs to be replaced and then it will work properly. Before I bought the car I also had them check all the above and the valves and they were in good working order.
So do you believe its the electronic unit too, and what is the appropriate name?

RE: ABC Error
i don't think there's such a warning display message as "display defective ABC".
the suspension then got no problem. it doesn't go up or down by itself.
you can reset the warning by pressing the selection button because it's just priority 2 warning.
best way is to use computer first to extract the fault code. please tell me what's the fault code.
it can be a CAN communication between instrument cluster and ABC control module. but i doubt SAM got something to do with that.
pull out the ABC module and see if there is any oil contamination on the connector / pins.

RE: ABC Error
it is better to tell me the fault code.
the one on the display is for driver's information only.
it can be a wiring harness, communication problem or control unit.
see the attached pic on my next post. maybe it's also the reason.
