Xenon to H7 conversion
Hi,
I have a 2001 C320 and both of my xenon bulbs went out. I called the dealership to ask for the replacement and they said they need to see the bulb to give me a quote. I took the bulb out and took it in. While the bulb was out, the burner burned out. And now the total cost to replace the one burner and 2 bulbs is about $2500.
I am wondering if it's just cheaper to convert to H7 lighting units. If anyone has a list of parts I'd need and directions to do it, I'd greatly appreciate it. I do know that the bumper needs to be taken off in order to replace the light housing. The bigger problem is replacing the wires. Is it seriously complicated?
Thanks,
Harv
