Hi all

I've got a 2003 C320 that is currently making life very interesting!

whenever I press the window button, the whole center console 'resets', almost as if you had to turn the key on and off really quickly -ABS, rev counter etc return to zero and then become functional again, of course until i hit the window button!

does anybody have any ideas on what the cause could be?
I took it to merc last time, and they said the 'normalized' the system - still dont know what that means!

any ideas would be very helpful!
