Default Wipers won't stop

Hello everybody! Brand sparkling new trouble - wipers function fine but sometimes will keep going at off position. I either pull the fuse or turn switch and ignition few times until it finally shuts off. Shop, which usually resolves electrical issues, gave up this morning. Any suggestions before the costly dealer diagnostics?? Thanks to all in advance. PS. 2001 C320 4dr W203.

wow. i like this kind of problem.

i may start by checking the park position contacts inside the motor. then check the front SAM and CAN.

Hey, I'm a simple guy. What is SAM and CAN??? And where would I start to look for the motor? Could it be just a turn switch???

Signal Acquisition Module or fuse control unit.

Controllers Area Network or internet line

bring the car to a good technician.

you know the function of the rain sensor already. i hope it's not on the 1st position.

This would make it easy, but there is no rain sensor in this car.
