Sometimes, usually after using my tun signal but not always, my wiper will come on. It may go once or go in to intermittint mode. If I turn the wipers on then off it will go away for a day or so. I do not have rain sensors. I'mthinking the stalk will have to come off, which I have no knowledge yet how to do. If anyone has experience with this problem any help/advice it will be appreciated.

sounds like it is the stalk, pretty easy to do if your somewhat mechically inclined. i could walk you threw it.

 

I'm pretty mechanical but I like to start with as much info as I can get, any help to get started would be apreceiated.

I have the same problem now that you had last year. I have a C280 1995. Was the problem in the stalk? Would you please share your resolution with me? I thought it might be the relay, but that wasn't it and I really feel the problem lies in the stalk. Thanks for your help, Trudy.
