Default windshield

Is there any way to understand if the windshield of a car has been changed or not?

Default RE: windshield

For an experienced person, it is possible to detect a windshield replacement even if the job was perfect.

If the job is not perfect, an average car guru can tell.

For example, if the windshield lacks MB and or Sekurit name, then you know it is a cheap replacement. The condition of the liners is another way to tell.

Personally, I prefer to have a new windshield every 60000 miles or so, because pits created by the road debris make your visibility poor. You replaced your wiper, but windshield does not get a clean wipe anymore in rain and snow, then you know windshield needs replacement.

Replacing a windshield does NOT make a car inferior. It makes it safer. You can consider it as the same way as an oil change or change of tires.

i know about all these but the thing is I bought a new car and it does not have the "MB Product" sticker on the windshield while all of the cars have it. It makes me think of maybe they changed the windshield.
