Default window wiper problem

anyone out there experienced any problems with the window wiper, the problem occurred when the wiper locked up,i thought it was the motor that had gone but i replaced that then found that it must be the mechanism, i have now replaced that and now when the wiper is on intermitten mode when it wipes then stops for about 30secs or what ever it then wipes again it wont go back to the home position to where it suppose to go back to then every time now it wipes the home position gets higher and higher so eventually after it has wiped for about 15 mins the home position of the wiper is more or less sat over the passenger side of the car and not the driver side, this is really annoying anyone got any ideas or experienced this before

please please please help

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "more or less sat over the passenger side of the car and not the driver side".

It sounds like an issue with the linkage.

Removing And Installing Wiper Linkage
1 Remove ignition key
2 Remove wiper arm
3 Open engine hood, raise to vertical position
4 Remove air inlet
5 Remove wiper system
6 Adjust basic setting of wiper gear head
7 Unscrew nut of wiper gear head shaft (1)
8 Press off crank arm of wiper gear head (2)
9 Unscrew wiper motor shaft nut
10 Press wiper linkage (3) off crank arm of wiper motor (4)
11 Take off wiper linkage (3) Installation
12 Move wiper motor into parking position
13 Fit on wiper linkage (3)
14 Press wiper linkage (3) onto crank arm of wiper motor (4)
15 Screw on wiper motor shaft nut Wiper motor shaft nut - 19 N.m
16 Basic setting of wiper gear head
17 Press crank arm (2) onto shaft of wiper gear head - Pay attention to setting: crank arm of wiper motor (4) and wiper linkage (3) must be installed in extended position
18 Screw nut onto shaft of wiper gear head (1) Nut of wiper gear head shaft –
19 N.m 19 Install wiper system
20 Install wiper arm
21 Install air inlet
22 Close engine hood

Hope this helps
