Default Will MB sales and quality continue to slide or improve with Dieter Zetsche?

In September, Dieter Zetsche (who turned around the Chrysler Group for DCX) was installed as CEO of DiamlerChrysler and head of the Mercedes Divison.
It is no secret that this year Mercedes lost 1.1 Billion dollars and continues to suffer with quality problems, loosing market share to BMW and Lexus.
There are signs that Mercedes is going to make a run at rehabilitating their name, but will they succeed?

Default DaimlerChrysler steigt wieder.

Die Anschlußarbeiter in Deutschland wurden wegen ihrer Nachfragen zu faul. Mercedes ist noch ein sehr gutes Auto und ich denke, daß Diätetiker Zetsche die Firma herum dreht.

We will see! I'm am hope that Herr Zetsche will capitalize success at Chrysler, not low end quality but business ideas. He has said to make Mercedes #1 JD Powers quailty rating. Again, we will see!

I think they are doing OK at the moment ps: read the third quarter profit increase which is 38%.

Beans are more important today than even quality or loyalty. Publicly traded companies have to satisfy the short-term needs of investors. They win out over the consumers. If not, the company hierarchy gets an almost instantaneous facelift.

nicht nur in Deutschland aber die Dealerships geben auch schlechte einstellung gegenüber, nachdem Verkaufsservice zu wenig Tätigkeit durch Deutschland über diese erfolgt wird.

JD Powers is a good reference!

Jake99, are you saying that Mercedes has bad Customer Service in Europe? Althought my car is past warranty and I use an independent garage, my impression is that Mercedes dealerships in the states do a lot to make their customers angry, or disappointed.
