I got a 2000 C 280 Sport.

 

Yep there is a sensor in the pad, you will hear a scratching noise as opposed to a squeal, and the brake light will come on. Dealers charge $50 and up per side. Go to www.mercedesshop.com and click on Fast Lane, Phil has some great prices on Mercedes parts.

 

Just wondering, what does the brake light look like? I dont have the original manual, I dont know what any of the lights mean. Thank you so much.
