I have a 2002 C320 Wagon. It has a whine / howl / groan? Not sure what to call it. Basically you only get the noise at right about 40 with your foot barely on the gas (about 1500 rpm). Get below or up above 40 and or into the gas it goes away. No drive line slop, no vibration, nothing just the noise. Saw a post that described something similar but cannot find it.
