Default what's schedule A & B

Hey Guys,

Quick question, My C320 Schedule A light just came on and instead of me bringing it to Mercedes can anyone tell me what Schedule A & B is?

Schedule A is a glorified oil change and expensive, B is an Oil and Air Filter change and a bunch of checks and is very expensive. I did all my A and B's until the warranty was up, nowdo most of it myself.

How do I go about resetting the reminder for schedule B so that it stops reminding me every time I put in the key? I've already done the services myself (oil change, air filter change and brake checks...etc).

BTW the car is a 2001 E320.

Thank you,
Chaisone

Although this "reset" procedure seems to vary from one year/model vehicle to another, this has been covered numerous times here
on this forum and you might want to do a search for this topic. I'll bet it's there. I've also posted this for my own car several times
by request, but again, it might be different on your car. It's done on the steering wheel with those buttons and using the trip reset as well.
My car is an '05 C230K, but.......as I said, it's probably different for your car......same idea, but slightly different. If you get frustrated
trying it (some people do!), then repost and you can try my way if you can't find it here. But, it's here.

Also remember, you can take your car under factory warranty to any shop you want to and it doesn't have to be a dealership. Your warranty won't be "voided" by doing this. This is a long standing notion that is not true. As long as the work is performed and documented, you are fine. The key word here is "documented". Keep all repair and work order info., etc. just in case you are asked for it.
