Default What does this mean?

I turn my 98 C230 on and this is what pops up. Wrench, clock, and -20. The number keeps going up. It started with a -1 now it is up to -20. What I have found online from searching is that it might be my oil (dirty oil filter or dirty oil). Does anyone know how I could find out exactly what it is without going to a dealer? Also... I have been looking online for a repair/maintainence cd for my 98 C230. Does anyone recommend a place for me to purchase one? Last but not least, the key for the transmission fluid, are non-dealers able to purchase these? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

is the wrench and number in the center above how many miles on the car? If so you needed a service and the negative is how many miles you went over.
