Default What it cost me to own an Audi A6 2.7T 2001 from new to 143k miles

I would like to see if anyone can tell me how something like a C320 4matic Mercedes would compare to the cost of my Audi which I bought new and now has 143,500 miles on it. I have the full list of Maintenance done on the car in and out of warranty. Including a really crappy, but expensive dealer extended warranty I should have never gotten that was effective from 50k to 75k miles.

Please let me know how this would compare to a Mercedes. Or if anyone could compile a list of cost for their own car.

Obviously the car was under warranty and free maintenance for the first 50,000 miles, but I have included the items that were fixed during that period also. Does not include things like oil changes, which after warranty expired were done every 6k miles with Castrol Syntec synthetic oil for aobut 70 bucks each time.

Tires were replaced at 40k miles, 80k miles and 120k miles

1. Fuel Pump Quit at around 22k miles - Free (warranty) Car quit on side of the road. Tow and courtesy car from dealer also free

2. Brakes replaced around 25k miles due to warped rotors - Free (warranty)

3. Brakes replaced around 50k miles due to warped rotors - Free (warranty)

4. Cam Shaft adjustment seals leaking @ 70k miles, not covered under dealer warranty--Replaced seals --- 1,200 dollars Done at Dealer

5. Brakes replaced at 70k miles due to warped rotors, replaced during the Cam Seals replacement--1,000 dollars work done at dealer(total bill with the seal replacement 2,200 dollars)

6. 80k miles Preventative Maintenance
Replaced recommended items Timing Belt, Tensioners, and Water Pump--work done by local import shop - 1,250 dollars

7. 90k miles Brakes replaced again due to warped rotors--work done at Audi Dealer for 1,000 dollars

8. 95k miles Front suspension Tie rods replaced due to a clanking noise rolling over bumps, also alligned at that time--work done at local shop-- 500 dollars

9. 110k miles Car is smoking because of burning oil due to a blockage in the negative pressure check valve for engine block. work done at local shop - 550 dollars to clean oil out of engine hoses and lines.

10. 120k miles - ESP and Check engine light illuminate. Replaced ABS Module and mass airflow sensor. ABS MODULE was a used part for 850 dollars (new from Audi is 2,500 dollars) total bill from Local shop 1,200 dollars

11. 130k miles Brakes replaced again (actually not due to warped rotors this time.) work done at local shop for only 750 dollars.

now up top 143k miles and nothing else needed so far.
