Hi, Iam a new C Class owner of 3 wks. The factory fitted head unit in my benz is an Audio 10 Single CD player.
I have just got an OEM CD Changer of Ebay. Part A203 820 90 89, Model 3010. It has come with a Fibre Optic cable which will fit into the back of my Audio 10, cassette player also from ebay. With the Fibre Optic Cable, there came a power cable. The Changer end of this power cable has a plug with it so theres no problem there, although the other end is a mistery. The 3 wires are Blue with a Black Stripe, Red with a Black Stripe and Brown. Does anyone know what they are and what I should be connecting them to? Would it be easier to purchase a power cable from MB? If so then does anyone have a part number for the cable? Also would like some explicit instructions on how to remove the headunit, from a W203. I have managed to remove the centre air vents and the top of the centre consol. Iam having problems detaching it from the Ash Tray end. Any help is much appreciated.
