W203 "B SERVICE"
Sorry all for the dumb question....
My C class c180 Avantgarde"54"plate needs a "B Service"
It should of had one 100 miles ago, (warning light comes on every time I start the car)
Due to the current financial climate (currently I can't afford it)
How many miles realistically can i go over - i knowthe service is urgent....but other things come first.
Many thanks Parkie

I million dollar answer. Beleive me. You can afford it. Dont go anywhere. Get Oil Changed, that's it. This is the service A,B,C,D,....Z
Dealer here charges 550 $ for Service B. What does he do :
1.) Change Oil (varies, you put a very good oil for 95 $, and a not so goodone which you can change again for 40 $ , plus some oil disposal fee )
2.) Change Wipers (You dont need to change, if yes then go to walmart buy for 5 $)
3.) Change Oil Filter (You can skip it for a while or change it, buy for max 35 $ from Autozone)
4.) Rotate tyres (You can skip it , if not then change it urself )
5.) They check battery. (No need to do)
6.) Check tyre thread (You can check it yourself by using the penny rule)
7.) Wash (Go to a car wash and spend 5 $)
8.) Check brake pad (Skip it, do it in next service)
9.) Washer Fluid (Fill it youtself, make it on your own from soap water or buy from walmart 5 $)
So you see you dont need to spend $$$$$ to do it. I would say its better to do it yourself then take a risk your merc.
How much it will be, if I were you. I will put cheap oil (50 $ ) and wont do anything else coz there is nothing to do other than oil change.
Still dont trust me, google around a bit and see what is SERVICE B... NOTHING ... just OIL CHANGE.
Best Of Luck.
