My Girlfriend is looking at buying a 2003 c230 coupe (the hatchback).
We found one she likes and when I was test driving it the manual transmission would vibrate a bit (in my hand) while in 3rd and 4th gear.
I've driven stick all my life and have felt this a little on an old jeep I had but was wondering if this is normal for the benz....?
It's not much of a vibration... but when I keep my hand on the stick before shifting to the next gear it's like I can feel the gears in the gear box.
I hope this make sense.

Also... if there's anything else I should look out for I would appreciate any suggestions.

Though MB (manual) shifters are never as smooth as the ones in Toyotas, you should not feel any gear-teeth-grinding kind of feeling. There could be some issue with the clutch, or even the transmission itself.

Don't buy it if you do not feel 100%.
