Default Transmission leak

I thought the leak from my C240 was coming from oil pan. It seems that instead of oil it is tranmission fluid. Where is the leak possibly coming from? please advise

What kind of car year and model , also what type of trans 5,6,7 speed can be determinded by placing car in 1 then manually shift gears up if shows 5 then D you have 722.6(6speed) if 6 then D 722.9( 7 SPEED) now mostly all the leaks from the 722.6(6speed) were from the trans electrical circular connector. it s seal by 2 o-rings the newst style should be white in color if yours are red replace .you can fix it by yourself all you need is 1 qt. fluid , t27/30 torx and a deep 7mm soccket with car cold jack it up remove under plastic panel (8mm screws) remove metal electrical cover right side trans (t30/27 torx) slide connector lock down remove electrical harness insert 7mm socket inmiddle of connector trans side unscrew counterclock wise pull connector assembly out youll see the 2 o rings replace and reinstall in revese order (TIGHTEN SCREW SNUG HAND TIGHT !!! if overtorque damage valve body) then fill 1 qt trans fluid is there wasalot of fluid leak (oil all over undercar) or 1/2 qt. at min. then use brakeclean spray entire area clean road test ceck for leaks . this problem was very common and the orings seemed to last only 20-30k
