Default Trans svc, MSD coil packs

Howdy y'all
About to change trans fluid in the 99 C280 but some german took my dipstick. I understand this is considered a Special Tool at the dealership. Where can I find one for less than a weeks pay? What is trans fluid capacity? I found gasket & filter for $22 @ Advance Auto. Any favorite flavors of fluid? I'm in AL, using Mobil1 5-30 engine oil. 105k miles.
Mechanic ran obd on car last year, said #2 o2 sensor bad. All 4 sensors come together in a "square" formation underneath car, just aft of cats-- can you tell me which one is #2?
Also, does anyone have succesful experience in retrofitting MSD multi-coilpacks and MSD digital ignition box on a mercedes?
Thanks

initial filling is 7.5L. that's if the torque converter is empty.

if you will only drain from the pan, then about 3.5 to 4 liters.

can you tell me which one is #2
hard to tell because it's not specified.

still got the fault code number? did it say before or after catalyst?

MB only. About $8-$10 per quart
You might try either Importec or All OEM Parts. They both seem to have reasonable prices on parts. They will also carry the A/T dipstick.

All 4 sensors come together in a "square" formation underneath car,
If your mechanic is saying 'all four sensors are one unit that come together', you might want to consider another mech.- but that's up to you. Oxygen Sensors are priced anywhere from $100-$160. each. They all cost approximately the same but that is the range I've seen them selling for.

G3/5 sensor is also known as Sensor 2, Bank 2. This might be what you mechanic meant by, "#2 O2" It it is one of the two after the catalitic converter HOWEVER, as Sleepwalker says, you need an engine code to know which one of the four (independent) sensors is acting up. No sense guessing at it.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys. I am ordering parts on All OEM Parts tommorrow. The comment about the 4 o2 sensor wires coming together in a square was my own observation. I don't have the code so may have to pay for a scan to find correct sensor.
Thanks again for your assistance and very helpful attitudes. Great site.

'99 MB C280, BK, Tan lthr, fresh oil and a full tank of hi-test. A dream realized!
'99 Tahoe, where speed is only limited by the amount of fuel you can afford to push through it. and air resistance, and the bald tires that need balanced---but she is a fine truck!
