What brand should I look for? I had a shop who gave me deal for Teinspringsfor $400 installed. Im not too sure if thats the right route to take. Also how low should I ask them to drop it w/ 19" wheels? Thanks

With springs, you cannot adjust the ride height. We recommend TEIN Basic coilovers. KW Variant2 would be best choice.

Thanks for your response, but Wouldnt it be too much of a hard/bumpy ride w/ coil overs vs. the springs? And how much does the KW Variant2 go for w/ shipping?.. Thanks

Not necessarily. Variant2 is $1609.99 shipped to US.

Are these coilovers difficult to install on my own, or do I need a professional to dothis for me?

Professional install is highly recommended.

K1 motorsport,

I kinda made up my mind and decided to go w/ the KW's you were talking aboutbut Imtrying to figure out What the difference is between Variant 1 and Variant 2? C230's arent that fast at all so Im looking for just a daily smooth pavement road drive to work and back and mybe out to the movies on the weekends type of coilovers. Do you suggest I go w/ the Variant 1 in any way, or is it definetly worth it to spend the extra $300 for the Varient 2? Your suggestion is highly appreciated!!! Thanks

Variant1 allows you to adjust ride height.
Variant2 allows you to adjust ride height & damper setting.
For a daily car, Variant1 is normally sufficient.
